Interior Painting
How We Prep Interior Work
We take care of your floors! Paper is used to cover up to your baseboard or your entire floor, whichever is best for your project. Drop cloths are used for our tools, our feet and all potential paint.
What to Expect
Preparation:
We cover all flooring with tape and paper, as well as a drop cloth
We mask off surfaces and fixtures where we will be working (counters, cabinets, light fixtures)
All outlet and light switch covers are removed
Process:
Sanding: All surfaces will be sanded using our FessTool Sanding System; this machine sands surfaces and simultaneously vacuums the debris!
Wall Prep: all surfaces that will be painted will be patched and caulked as needed; this will help surfaces looks as new as possible
Priming: not always needed but will be done as necessary
Paint Product: Sourced from locally owned and operated Trio Paint or Sherwin Williams
Ceilings are always CHB from Sherwin Williams
Paint Process: All surfaces will receive minimum of 2 coats; ceilings, trim, walls, doors, etc
Additional Notes:
Clean Up:
Daily: we uncover and move your most used furniture back, remove drop cloths, and vacuum to ensure your evening is comfortable
End of Job: furniture will be moved back, plate covers will be reinstalled, and we will clean any area we worked in to leave your home better than we found it
Extra Paint: Clearly labeled and left for your future use or touch-ups
